“Ryan” disappeared into a large bag under the table and brought out a huge, smart looking book we had never seen before.  It was the Strong’s Concordance. (it was before there was an app for that =).   The Strong’s contains every word of scripture in Hebrew, Greek and English with its definition and usage.  “Ryan” set out to show us the article “a” was permissible in this scripture…and added the JW opinion that it should be there.  

This moment laid the bedrock for the way I study today.  As an English speaker I am limited, but using the Bible, the Strong’s, Greek/English parallels such as the Kingdom Interlinear, translation comparisons, and a little common sense,  I can come to some pretty solid conclusions.

Am I a scholar? No. Am I a student of Scripture with help from the Holy Spirit? Absolutely.

My sister converted as a result of the studies with “Ryan” and his wife many years ago.  I almost converted with her.  But, being a little hesitant, I ended up becoming like a Berean, comparing both JW and Christian doctrines with scripture to see what was true.  We must study honestly to come to honest conclusions. These are only my first examples of NWT twisting.  They exist on every page of the NWT.  And with every twist there is a reason. Please read and process these carefully. I spent a lot of time trying to make them easy to follow if you read them carefully.  my intent is not to bash a religion…but to help free JWs from an organization that twists scripture to support an old heresy called Arianism, thereby deceiving sincere people. Twisted scripture is no longer true.  My prayer is that Jehovah will reveal the truth about “the truth.”
